Very well stocked and organized. Deli has a wide and wonderful assortment of foods. The store is clean and the staff is friendly. Being an out of towner I was pleasantly surprised and more so when given store card discounts even though I had no store card. I'll continue to shop here as long as I'm in the area
I asked a worker for an odd item which I suspected they wouldn't have. She politely went to look for it only to as expected not have it...she came and found me and was great... Until I heard that same worker mocking what I asked for to another coworker and customer one isle over. When I walked into the isle she looked embarrassed and said... "I was just double checking on that item you asked about.... " despite the fact I heard her laughing about the item I asked for because she had never heard of it. I'm in the industry too. But the way she was mocking me because she had never heard of a product wasn't OK. To not know is one thing..... To make fun of a customer who simply wanted help isn't. 3 stars for help.......minis one for the insult.
Its small but quant.I'm used to bigger markets back in pa. Their deli corner could be bigger, a wider variety. They need to expand, or do some renovations, add a salad bar. The staff are very helpful, and the counter ladies..zero complaints. I would go there to buy 3, or 4 items and avoid the lines at the register
I will miss the Gibbstown ShopRite! I hope I can find the Apple Cake which is the best! I eat it for breakfast most every day, it is so good! So, please keep making the apple cake at your new location!
